Matthew Brodacki is a veteran law enforcement professional with over two decades of experience. He currently serves as Captain of the Technical Investigation Unit (TIU) in Southwest Connecticut, where he leads an 18-person team focused on cybersecurity and digital forensics. Under his leadership, the unit protects 1.1 million residents from technology-related crimes. Matt holds dual master’s degrees in Public Administration and Digital Forensics from the University of New Haven and frequently serves as an expert witness in civil and federal courts. His qualifications are further strengthened by advanced training from the National Computer Forensic Institute and POST certification in technology instruction.
In addition to his law enforcement career, Matt is a dedicated community advocate. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Rowan Sex Assault Center and has supported initiatives like Friends of Sandy Hook, which honors victims through the construction of playgrounds. He is also the founder of Haven-Rock.com, a business that provides assistance to widows, disabled individuals, and families in need, reflecting his deep commitment to community service.
